50th Anniversary Half-Speed Vinyl of Paul McCartney ‘Ram’ Coming 5/14 via UMe
It can be a bit dizzying to keep up with all of the happenings surrounding Sir Paul McCartney these days.
Back in December, the tireless former Beatle released McCartney III, his excellent album made in “rockdown” and featuring Macca on every instrument. The album is being revisited (already) in mid-April as III Imagined, featuring an array of special guests on reinterpretations and/or remixes of the album’s tracks.
There’s also a lavish The Lyrics 1956 to the Present book coming in November.
But wait … there’s more!
Announced on Wednesday, a special 50th anniversary edition of McCartney’s 1971 album RAM will also be coming on May 14, via UMe. The limited edition half-speed vinyl run is up for pre-order now at McCartney’s official site.
Happy RAM-iversary! To celebrate 50 years since the release of Paul and Linda McCartney’s 1971 fan-favourite album, ‘RAM’ will be reissued on 14th May 2021 as a limited edition half-speed mastered vinyl pressing 💛
